Some really exciting stuff is going on in the world of modern wireless internet communications, and it is growing ever more common for fourth generation mobile networks—the very cutting edge of advanced communications—to be deployed in the nation’s major urban communities. The advent of fourth generation mobile internet has caused some pretty huge ripples in the general consumer public and the mobile communications industry itself, and there is a growing demand in various markets for such networks to be deployed; and when compared to the very limited scope of 4G networks a year or more ago, it is quite remarkable to read the quite long list of city names that currently have such capabilities in place. More cities are seeing fourth generation networks being rolled out on a constant basis, among which Dallas and Atlanta are only two recent examples…it’s very possible that your city might be next!

A good part of the reason for why such networks are popping up in so many new markets so quickly is because transmission systems are on average more intelligent and affordable for companies than previously was the case. In many areas, fourth generation networks use already existing towers and poles to transmit their signal, meaning that a very minimum of infrastructure development needs to take place. In other cases, practical and easy-to-deploy transmission systems such as WiMax are deployed (in fact, this is proving to be the transmission means of preference across the industry): such transmissions schemes save on money because the signal is able to travel farther and in all directions as opposed to just one, which has the effect of needing to erect fewer towers over a given piece of terrain in order for it to be completely covered in coverage.

And when we talk about being completely covered with strong signal service, we really do mean it. That is perhaps one of the most remarkable advances and benefits of 4G: the signal is so incredibly potent that within the coverage area, you are simply not going to be cut off. And that is reinforced by the fact that fourth generation standards are much more compatible and interoperable among each other than was the case with previous generations of mobile standards—which means that as you travel along using the internet on your mobile device, there is no brief interruption in the service as you pass from one network to another…there’s just a seamless handover that you don’t even realize has taken place! It’s truly brilliant!

As mentioned, 4G networks are being introduced to more and more urban markets such as Atlanta and Dallas mentioned above; yet it won’t be long before such networks are rolled out in more suburban and rural areas of the country, filling the gaps between urban areas and then beginning to cover truly remote areas. Within a few years, it won’t be hard to imagine that you’ll be able to do a major road trip without losing your signal once along the way. Just think of the implications and the applications and you’ll have somewhat of a notion of the impact fourth generation wireless communications are going to have in the long term.

The expansion of 4G networks across the country has been creating anxious and in many cases highly impatient expectant new customers in the many markets still waiting to have networks rolled out. The initial wave of expansion is, of course, focused on the large cities across the nation, having started in Baltimore, Maryland and spreading out to many other cities. After a long and intolerable wait for the many anxious customers in its market, Chicago has finally found its way onto the 4G map—and what a resounding success the service has proven to be here! The Windy City has proven to make the best of just about every awesome and advanced feature that fourth generation networks and the incredibly advanced phones and peripherals that operate on such networks have to offer. And when we say advanced, we really do mean it, as will be seen below with just a few examples of what such a service can bring users.

For starters, 4G is bringing lightning-fast connection speeds to users that are accustomed to having snail-like connection rates when using their mobile devices. The switch up to fourth generation connectivity is so abrupt and so significant that most people don’t even have a clue what to expect: from their few hundred measly Kbps or at most 1 or 2 Mbps over their previous mobile network, reaching up to more than 10 or a dozen Mbps—or even more on occasion—is like traveling at the speed of light for such users! The quickness of the connection is in and of itself a truly extraordinary feature, though it is in fact only the beginning of the benefit, a sort of door that opens the way to a whole universe of new applications and features that were never available in the past over mobile networks.

In fact, all developers and observers of the mobile communications industry have been referring to 4G as being “apps-heavy,” meaning that you will simply be blown away by the different kinds of applications to be had with your service. Surely any user that needs to stay in regular contact with colleagues, customers, bosses and so forth will find the fact that they can actually use their mobile service for VoIP and live videoconferencing to be an invaluable advantage. Getting to the point where VoIP and similar heavy, realtime applications could be used over mobile networks was a major challenge for developers, and was not available with previous 3G services; however with fourth generation technology, this and many other seemingly impossible feats have been accomplished, all to the benefit of the general buying public.

Finally, for cities like Chicago where traffic can be a nightmare and where the sheer size of the city can be a challenge, the availability of instant road and traffic information over 4G networks (in certain cases actually built into the vehicle, making what is known as the “connected car”) will be of enormous use and service to users. Just another example of how the latest generation of mobile is shaking things up in Chicago and across the US!

Win Woods knee surgery on the sidelines for eight months after the turmoil of the 2008 US Open, watching television cut in half, then was gone. Now, Woods participated in the Gulf of indefinite leave to admit marital infidelity.

In the latest round of negotiations, NBC tournament focuses on negotiating rights Woods was able to play, said the former head of research Steve Sternberg, Magna. But in fact the result of the dirty stream of allegations of the Bretton not playing, the networks have taken a firm reminder that high scores when they supported the request HES Arent.

The television networks business is to provide skills for the advertising industry, said analyst Larry Gerbrandt, director of Media Partners valuation. The networks sell ads for the promise of a particular classification. This does not happen often in a position to need an order from critics who have been caught short Gerbrandt said. Networking how much your opinion is whether the wood is controversial, but may base their rates on the assumption that it will.

You can not run a business this way, said Gerbrandt.

The networks have to decide how much you are willing to pay the PGA Tour based on how much money they think they can advertise.Negotiations to some extent a worst case scenario, said Gerbrandt.

When can begin negotiations, the networks have a better idea of the scenario, good or bad. If Woods is already measured in the tour, will return, the impact of the scandal on skills and level of play. The most left out, the more uncertainty permeates negotiations.CBS and NBC, declined comment.

He had no illusions. They have much greater prosperity for golf with Tiger Woods playing in our time, said golfer Graeme McDowell. Theres several global superstars on the road to replace. But not only eager to replace too. We need to hang four or five years.

When it comes to wireless internet networks and user experiences, the general consensus has been that 3G networks were and continue to be a major success. They ushered in a new era of mobile capabilities that proved to have major business applications and that furthermore were hugely popular among individual end-users for simple connectivity purposes. And thanks to the many different devices which have offered users access to 3G networks, the availability has been incredibly broad. Now, however, with the launch of 4G networks in many different local markets across the US (and in other parts of the world) all of these positive, exciting trends are only going to be deepened, broadened, and improved.

That’s essentially because fourth generation wireless will be like 3G, but more versatile in its applications, faster in its data transfer speed, and basically better in every possible way you can imagine. The first US city to be graced with a fourth generation network was Baltimore, Maryland, though by now (late 2009) there are dozens of cities across the country being blanketed—and that word needs to be taken in a quite literal sense—in 4G signals. In the coming year, the rollouts are shaping up to be quite aggressive and will bring this incredibly service to many millions more. But what exactly stands to be gained by this new wave of wireless networks, and where are the most important advances?

As has been stated over and over again by the leaders in fourth generation deployments, the greatest virtue here is applications and more applications. Among the most exciting applications to be brought in by this new generation of mobile standards, a representative list would surely have to include wireless VoIP services, M2M (mobile to mobile) applications such as smart grids, and a variety of location-aware apps that will take social networking online to a whole new level. There are many other applications that will be rocking the 4G world that will surely arise as these networks gain in subscribers and popularity, but even with this limited list the cause for optimism and expectation is quite high.

Another tremendous virtue that fourth generation networks will offer users, whether represented by businesses or individuals, will be the ability to connect seamlessly despite whatever type of wireless technology you are connecting through. That is to say, if you are getting your signal from a WiFi tower one minute and then you move into another zone of your city where the signal is being disseminated by a WiMax tower, you won’t even realize that there was a change in that regard—it will be, quite literally, a seamless hand off. This is an enormous improvement over previous generations where protocol prevented this from happening, and the service had to be interrupted (even shortly, it still represents an inconvenience) for a new session to be initiated. Essentially, quality of service will remain intact no matter what part of the coverage area you are in and no matter what kind of device you happen to be using.
